For our customer, a leading open source market leader, we are looking for a Account Executive Belgium.  The Account Executive Belgium will be responsible for expanding direct and indirect sales of open source solutions in the corporate and government segment in Belgium.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Represent our employer’s interests in all dealings and transactions.
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential sales deals and provide a forecast in your territory
  • Exceed revenue targets on an ongoing monthly/quarterly/annual base.
  • Provide a forecast representing demand in the territory that is accurate and achievable.
  • Provide a detailed account plan for each major deal.
  • Understand the strengths and weaknesses of the competitors.


Profile:

  • +5 years IT sales experience, preferably min. 2 years in a key account manager role.
  • Experience in complex, high value enterprise software environment, IT infrastructure and datacenters
  • Experience in an open source environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work credibly at all levels including board and operational levels.
  • Ability to and experience with working with local channel partners (distributors, resellers).
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
